Your privacy is critically important to us. At Master VA, we have a few fundamental principles:
- We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it.
- We don’t share your personal information with anyone except when you authorise us to, to comply with the law, develop our products and protect our rights.
- We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our services
If you have questions about deleting or correcting your personal data, or what information we hold about you, please contact our support team at hello@masterva.com.au.
It is Master VA’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites and services.
Below is our privacy statement which incorporates these goals:
Website Visitors and Mobile App Users
Like most website operators, Master VA collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Master VA’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors use our website. From time to time, Master VA may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website. Master VA may use third-party services to collect and store this information (e.g. Google Analytics, etc.).
Master VA also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and device identifications. Master VA does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to Master VA’s website choose to interact with Master VA in ways that require us to gather personally identifying information. The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for a report at masterva.com.au to provide an email address. Those who engage with Master VA to create a VA success session report provide additional information, which may include personal and financial information.
The personal information we collect about you includes only the information you choose to provide to us. For example, your name, email, phone number, address etc. This information may be collected via forms on our website or in one-on-one sessions.
In each case, Master VA collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Master VA.
Master VA does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain or all parts of our Service.
Master VA May Receive and Store Personal Information From You About Others
Master VA may also collect and store information about your contacts. You must ensure that you are authorised to disclose that information to Master VA and that, without taking any additional steps, Master VA complies with applicable data protection or privacy laws while collecting and storing such information for the purposes described in this Policy.
Use of Personal Data
Master VA may collect aggregated statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its websites and users of its Service. For instance, Master VA may monitor the most energy efficient consumers. Master VA may provide this information to others to design the most beneficial community solar implementation, or display this information publicly if you agree to it. However, Master VA does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
Master VA discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organisations that need to know that information in order to process it on Master VA’s behalf or to provide services available at Master VA’s websites and mobile apps, and that have agreed not to disclose it to others.
Master VA will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone.
Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organisations, as described above, Master VA discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when Master VA believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Master VA, third parties or the public at large.
If you are a registered user of a Master VA Service or have supplied your email address, Master VA may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with Master VA and our services. We expect to keep this type of email to a minimum.
If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Master VA takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorised access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
Cookies
A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Master VA uses cookies to help us identify and track visitors, their usage of our website, and their website access preferences. Master VA visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Master VA’s website, with the drawback that certain features of Master VA’s website may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
